Internship Training at KSEB Ltd


Internship Training as part of the curriculum is being permitted to the students at KSEB Ltd from various Educational Institutions subject to some conditions. The Chief Engineer - HRM is the sanctioning authority for imparting Internship training in KSEB Ltd and the permission is given subject to the conditions indicated below.
  1. Recommendation letter from the Head of the Institution is required.
  2. Internship/Inplant training is limited to ITI/VHSE/Diploma/M.Tech/Graduate Engineering students.
  3. Maximum number of students permitted per batch varies with centers*. *KSEB Ltd has the right to change these limits without prior notice.
  4. Permission will be granted for a minimum of 5 working days. Students can select prefered training period subject to availability
  5. Student should remit the fee as per the prevailed payment terms.
  6. Fee rates may change time to time, prior notice will be given in case of any changes. All correspondance should be addressed to 'The Chief Engineer (HRM)', Vydyuthi Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.
  7. Permission letter will be given by the Chief Engineer (HRM), Vydyuthi Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, on satisfactory compliance of all the above.
  8. Schedule once allotted will not be changed other than due to unavoidable circumstances and will be considered within the period of sanction only.
  9. No other facility of KSEB Ltd shall be available for use by the students permitted for training in KSEB Ltd.
  10. The students will be soley responsible for their safety during the training and shall abide by all the instructions, rules and procedures in force.




Human Resource Department (HRD)


The HRD Cell of the Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd started in 1992. It has been functioning under the control of Chief Engineer (HRM) and coordinated all activities of the training centers in KSEB Ltd. The Kerala State Power Policy envisages the restructuring of KSEB Ltd to meet the challenges of a competitive and fast changing national and international scenario.
